Sometimes that’s the best way to get started. You can explore if working with me as your wellness coach is a good fit for you.

When we’re getting started, we’ll go through a three-step process, which is outlined below.

Step 1. You will complete a full assessment that covers every aspect of wellness: physical activity, weight management, happiness, emotional health, stress management, energy level, health conditions and risks, nutrition, and life satisfaction.

Time: 20 – 30 minutes, no cost

Step 2. During our initial consultation, we’ll review your assessment and explore your strengths, motivators, and challenges. This is where we’ll craft a vision of what your overall wellness can be. I’ll help you understand what it looks like, how it will feel, where you really want to end up, and why wellness is important to you. Then, we’ll identify long term and short-term goals and the first steps you’ll need to take toward those goals.

Time: 90 minutes

Step 3. We connect weekly or as needed over the phone to review your progress and brainstorm strategies for your next steps. I will guide you in setting your next SMART goals that are specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic and time-limited.

Time: 30 – 40 minutes

How long does it take?

On average, I ask my clients to commit to three months of coaching. That’s the amount of time it takes most people to reach their first milestone.

You’ll start to notice changes after just a few weeks. My clients tell me that’s how long it takes to feel increased self-confidence, energy, satisfaction, and more motivation to make long-lasting changes.

However, for most of us, progress is not always linear. Have you ever fallen off a bike? Or a diet? While you might experience a slight setback, I’ll be there with you to come up with a strategy to work through it and learn from it. By the end of three months, my clients typically reach more than 70% of their three-month goals.

What does it cost?

The initial 90-minute session is $100. Ongoing sessions (30 – 40 minutes) are $50. I offer a $25 discount if you sign up for an initial session and 3 weekly or biweekly sessions ($225). Packages for 3 months of coaching are also available.

In general, I perform most coaching over the phone. This allows allowing each of us to be in a quiet, private location and free ourselves from distractions and interruptions. However, if we do live near each other, I’ll often set up our initial meeting in person.
